    Intimate and expansive. Reminded me of staying awake into the wee hours in Prince Rupert listening to late-night FM radio when it was possible to hear a wide range of styles and thematic groupings without commercial considerations. Diana Ross, Kris Kristofferson, Merrilee Rush and Bob Seger rub shoulders with John Boutté, Long John Baldry, Leonard Sumner and Alison Krauss. Doug's laid-back intros have the right touch, providing personal insights into his own musical influences and his work recording, producing and presenting music.
