From his early days of working for and being mentored by the Founders of the Edmonton Folk Festival,to his long-time position (25 years!) as Artistic Director/Executive Producer of Vancouver Island MusicFest, Doug's career in music has always included being a special event,concert and Festival producer. Doug has remained active in Producing Festivals & events for 40 years.
Doug also produces concerts and runs a 180 seat venue in Courtenay, the historic Old Church Theatre
